"Sometimes, it's definitely a mistake to try to make one girl look like another girl!"
...said Lazaro Hernandez, one part of the design duo of the women's wear and accessories label Proenza Schouler, in an interview about today's definition of beauty and their approach of creating fashion and makeup. Now in April 2014, the collaborative makeup collection with MAC Cosmetics was presented together with insights into their work behind the catwalk and the transfer of the face styling for the street. "Beauty plays a huge role in what we do, and while we kind of do 'anti-makeup' for our shows, we thought it would be cool to put some things out there that the Proenza woman could wear off the runway."
