MAC Cosmetics shares trend forecast SS16 via makeup

Various trend forecasts concerning the next seasons circulate online; some of them are openly accessible, others - especially the written reports by the ones who elaborate the colors for the fashion, beauty and lifestyle industry professionally, can be received only after paying a fee. Pantone for example releases the colors of Fall/Winter 2015 already for free while the Patoneview Colour Planner Autumn/Winter 2016/17 with included textile (!) examples of 64 forecasted colors is published with short preview at the shop only. Textiles are the first in the fashion chain which adopt the results of the trend experts who are researching on themes like social and climate changes and derive from these results lifestyle and color worlds. The Spring/Summer 2016 colors are now in the phase of the practical application even onto soft goods with shorter trend wave than textiles like makeup.

In three days from 26 August, MAC Cosmetics will provide for consumers another trend forecast. The cosmetics label packed a selection of the most popular colors seen at the international Spring/Summer 2016 catwalk presentations into the 'Trend Forecast Palette Spring 16' for lips (image below left) and eyes; each of the boxes contains six colors. The limited edition will be sold online on maccosmetics.at.
