Tangier in Morocco inspired Aerin Lauder for the new beauty collection 'Aerin Tangier Vanille'
The beauty collection 'Aerin Tangier Vanille' by Aerin Lauder is inspired by the Moroccan port city Tangier at the Strait of Gibraltar which runs between Africa and Europe (map). Tangier is for many travelers the entry to Morocco. The meeting place of cultures at this important port city, Tangier's gardens, streets, bazars and palaces are the starting point of Aerin Lauder's olfactory journey which opens with warm and fresh notes (vanilla and bergamot) and tells an exotic story with Bulgarian roses, benzoin trees, tonka beans, amber, sandal wood and musk. The label founder and creative director's associations with Tangier and the fragrance creation are visually depicted at the packaging as tribal pattern in chocolate brown (for the exotic composition) and cream (for the main note vanilla). The pattern is originally hand-painted and appears as packaging-print like a vibrating camo.
The eau de parfum and body cream of the 'Aerin Tangier Vanille' collection will be available from 21 August in Austria.
