The latest fragrance 'Odin 00 Auriel' by New York-based perfume label Odin (article) is created for men and women and can be described as floral oud fragrance with berry notes which evolves elegantly over hours several scent layers beginning with sun-drenched cassis berries, coriander, black pepper, covered by a rich floral bouquet of jasmine, lily of the valley around rose on a warm base of oud (black agarwood) in combination with sandalwood, patchouli and labdanum. The official description of the scent contains words like dark, animalic, aphrodisiac, creamy, provoking - and the terms fit well to the composition which is rather a longlasting olfactory accessory than a quickly disappearing companion; even the word 'sillage' (denotes how the perfume fills the room around the person who wears it) is mentioned in the description.

The 'Odin New York 00 Auriel' was released already at the end of last year; in March, it was listed on AskMen.com as one of the best new fragrances. It's easy to find it online in several stores such as at Barneys New York. In Austria, it's new and available at the online store of the beauty and perfume store chain Nägele & Strubell on AusLiebeZumDuft.
